Catholic Churches In Tagaytay

Where To Get Married in Metro Tagaytay.

One of the first things any couple considers when making plans for a Tagaytay wedding is the availability of their church of choice.

There are many Catholic churches in Tagaytay, as well as the neighboring towns of Alfonso, Indang, Mendez, Amadeo and Silang. You also have several viable options outside Metro Tagaytay, in nearby Cavite and Batangas.

1. Candelaria Chapel in Alfonso
Located in Buck Estate in Alfonso, Cavite.  Candelaria Chapel is just a stone’s throw away from Sonya’s Garden. There’s hardly anything online on Candelaria Chapel, although you might want to check out photos of Marjorie and Maynard’s wedding.

2. Ina ng Laging Saklolo in Tagaytay City
Ina ng Laging Saklolo Church is located in Sungay West, which should be on your left side, if you’re headed down towards that area of Tagaytay with View Park Hotel, Balai Taal, and People’s Park.

Fun fact: On the main retablo is the image of its patron saint, the Nuestra Senora de la Candelaria. The image was found in a mountain side in 1640 and disappeared nine times over the next few years – inexplicably going back to where it was originally found, until it was installed on its present site.
