Air New Zealand and the Most Epic Safety Video Ever Made [Tidbits]

With the third installment of “The Hobbit” hitting theaters this holiday season, it only seemed appropriate that Air New Zealand drum up the excitement a few more notches with a new Middle Earth-inspired air safety video.

You might recall the flag carrier’s production of a similar video two years ago, and an even sexier video featuring Sports Illustrated models in swimsuits just earlier this year.

Only released two days ago, this new video has already racked up more than 3 million views, making it quite possibly… the Most Epic Safety Video Ever Made:

From the official Air New Zealand YouTube channel:

As the official airline of Middle-earth, Air New Zealand has gone all out to celebrate the third and final film in The Hobbit Trilogy – The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Starring Elijah Wood and Sir Peter Jackson; we’re thrilled to unveil The Most Epic Safety Video Ever Made.

Special cameos by Sylvester McCoy, Dean O’Gorman and Weta Workshop co-founder Sir Richard Taylor. Directed by Taika Waititi.
